Social Worker, Youth (At Risk)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Case Assessment & Intake – Evaluate referral cases, conduct needs assessments, and determine suitability for intervention.
  • Client Engagement & Support – Build rapport with clients and stakeholders, set intervention goals, and sustain engagement in problem-solving.
  • Case Planning & Management – Develop case plans, coordinate interventions, and collaborate with community resources and agencies.
  • Documentation & Reporting – Maintain case files and prepare reports in compliance with required documentation standards.
  • Group Work Facilitation – Assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating group-based interventions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • A Degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
  • Prior experience working with youths is preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead and mentor youth volunteers to conceptualize, plan, and execute service-learning projects across various ASEAN countries, fostering leadership and community engagement.
  • Provide best practices, frameworks, and case studies to enable youth volunteer groups to deliver effective volunteering programmes.
  • Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders including Youth Corps Singapore, institutions of higher learning (IHLs), and overseas community organizations to facilitate seamless collaboration and maximize the impact of our initiatives.
  • Design and facilitate training sessions and workshops for volunteers to enhance their skills, competencies, and preparation for their roles and responsibilities within the program.
  • Serve as the primary liaison point for volunteers, providing guidance, support, and resources to address inquiries and challenges throughout their volunteering journey.
  • Ensure that budgets, audit, recordkeeping, and funding guidelines are followed and maintained in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate logistics for volunteer trips, including flight arrangements, accommodation bookings, and transportation logistics, ensuring all arrangements align with trip requirements and budgetary constraints.
  • Ensuring adherence when collaborating with internal teams and external partners to safeguard protocols and ethical standards when working with vulnerable communities.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in roles related to youth leadership, community development, or volunteer program management, ideally within an international or cross-cultural context.
  • Passionate about community development with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by developing countries across the region. Familiarity with international development issues or grassroots initiatives is a plus.
  • Experience is essential in youth leadership development, project management and financial management. Relevant certifications in teaching, coaching and/or facilitation would be a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders across cultures and contexts.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovate, and adapt to changing priorities and environments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Facilitate work plan formulation for Uni-Y service clubs.
  • Develop and execute marketing materials to promote Uni-Y service clubs.
  • Lead & mentor Uni-Y ExCo members, as well as strengthen the Christian development aspect of the clubs.
  • Develop and implement the clubs’ flagship programmes, Community Service programmes, Mental Wellness initiatives and Alumni engagement, with the objectives of creating positive social impact and developing youth leaders.
  • Cultivate and strengthen partnerships with key stakeholders including institutions of higher learning (IHLs) to facilitate seamless collaboration and to support club development and sustainability.
  • Design and implement training programmes to equip Uni-Y members and volunteers in their leadership skills and competencies for their leadership term.
  • Oversee the administrative responsibilities of the club which includes volunteer management, fiscal management and reviewing of SOPs to ensure club sustainability and development.
  • Curate the youth hub space to increase the awareness of the organization’s focus on youth development.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree or diploma holder in any discipline, with 3 years of working experience preferably with youths or in the social service sector.
  • Applicant must be a high-energy individual who possesses a passion for youth development; having past mentoring experiences will be an advantage.
  • Applicant preferably have past experience managing a club or formal group that is made up of youth (15-25 years old), or managing youth-related programmes; good understanding of membership/ volunteer/ club management will be an advantage.
  • Competent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) – applicant is expected to be highly interactive as he/she will be working closely with youth volunteers and key stakeholders, and be to communicate effectively in both speech and writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, innovate, and adapt to changing priorities and environments.
  • Leadership and supervisory qualities – applicant must be a self-starter who is able to demonstrate competency in his/her thought process.
  • Event management skill – applicant must be able to conceptualise, organize and execute events effectively, foresee potential challenges and plan for contingencies, manage manpower, and able to adapt to unexpected changes during actual event execution.
  • Marketing skills – applicant with an interest in developing and executing marketing materials to create awareness of the club and to promote her activities via social media platforms such as Instagram will be an advantage.

Working on Saturdays and weekday nights are required occasionally, due to the job nature and students’ availabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Programme Management:

  • Organize key events such as the programme launch, project showcases, and awards ceremonies, ensuring they are well-coordinated and impactful.
  • Manage all logistical aspects of these events, including venue selection, event timelines, resource allocation, and participant engagement.
  • Provide ongoing support to youth teams during the 15-week programme to ensure smooth project implementation.

Youth Engagement and Support:

  • Coordinate with mentors and trainers to ensure youth teams have the resources and guidance they need.
  • Manage and engage the alumni exco, coordinating their involvement in supporting events.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Establish and maintain partnerships with social service organizations, educational institutions, and other key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary liaison between participants, mentors, organizations, and the YFC programme team.

Communication and Promotion:

  • Develop and implement a communication strategy to promote the YFC programme and its initiatives through various channels.
  • Manage the YFC website, portal, and social media platforms, ensuring timely and engaging content that highlights programme milestones and success stories.

Administrative and Financial Oversight:

  • Maintain an efficient filing system for all programme-related documents and data.
  • Track and manage the programme’s budget, ensuring all expenditures are within allocated limits.

  • Identify, cultivate, and acquire new donors, including corporate partners, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals.
  • Co-develop and implement innovative fundraising strategies to expand donor engagement and revenue streams.
  • Research donor trends and giving behaviours to inform targeted fundraising initiatives.
  • Track donor pipeline and support stewardship efforts to convert one-time donors into long-term supporters.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in but not limited to Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations will be useful. Diploma with proven experience relating to fundraising, donor development, or related fields within the nonprofit sector can be considered.

Child Development Centre
Preschool Educator, Child Development Centre (English Language)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for the preparation of the classroom environment including pre-activity set up.

  • Ensure the classroom materials are of superior quality and adequate in supply.

  • To manage children between 18 months to 7 years old and provide high levels of interaction to promote critical thinking and positive attitudes towards learning.

  • Supervise activities such as field visits and group discussions to stimulate children’ interest and  broaden the understanding of their physical and social environment.

  • Prepare Lesson Plans in line with the curriculum developed according to MOE Curriculum Framework for Kindergartens to provide multiple experiences and social interactions.

  • Able to demonstrate and use audio-visual teaching aids to present subject matter to class when necessary.

  • Observe and monitor how and what children are learning and use the information to create new learning opportunities for children.
