Description & Culture of YMCA

YMCA of Singapore, founded in 1902, is a Christian, voluntary and international organisation. Although it is a Christian organisation, it does not discriminate against other religions, and individuals of different faiths are welcome to join the organisation. The Association helps its employees and members to fulfill their roles as responsible citizens who join in nation building without political obligations.

The Human Resources Division aims to provide comprehensive, effective and efficient Human Resources services. This includes attracting, hiring, compensating, and developing a highly qualified and diverse workforce who effectively support the Association’s goal.

It is our mission to advance a culture, which supports quality of work-life issues, enhances employee morale, facilitates effective performance, and challenges employee potential.
